Konocti Harbor Resort is seeking to hire a Lead and Prep Cook for our Waterfront Marina Bar & Grill! We are looking for reliable candidates with a desire for long-term commitment to join our team. Opportunities for growth.

DUTIES & SKILLS:

• Cooking and frying food orders; prepare them quickly and accurately

• Keep work and food prep areas, counters, and equipment clean

• Perform food preparation tasks as needed, stock kitchen and food supplies

• Grilling, cooking, and frying foods

• Plan and manage food orders to ensure all items of an order are finished and served at the same time

• Good time management skills as well as the ability to work quickly and multitask during busy periods

• You should also be prepared to stand for long periods of time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience is a plus

• Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize

• Knowledge of all health and safety regulations pertaining to food

Bartender duties and responsibilities:

• Mix traditional and creative cocktails; prep ingredients and garnishes for drinks

• Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere

• Keep a well-stocked bar with adequate supplies of beer, wine, liquor, and other supplies; place orders to replenish low supplies

• Clean the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment

• Organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
